REQUIREMENTS
Two years successful post high school education required. At least one year of work experience in a position requiring interpersonal interaction skills, knowledge of strategies to support students with behavior disorders desired.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & DUTIES
Behavior Facilitators will provide support for students with special needs in collaboration with special education case managers in order for students to achieve their goals established for Extended School Year (ESY) services. Behavior Facilitators will support the implementation of positive interventions that allow students to access learning opportunities as well as provide a safe learning environment for students and staff. Behavior Facilitators may also assist teams with managing unexpected behaviors that arise during the ESY session, and work with the case manager to implement any behavior intervention plans that are part of a student's IEP.
PAY INFORMATION
Pay Day: Last working day of each month.
HOURS & FTE
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday - 8:00 am to 11:30 am
June 17th - 19th, plus June 16th as a work day
June 24th - 26th
Off the week of July 4th
July 8th - 10th
July 15th - 17th
July 22nd - 24th
