About the Role
The ED Clinical Nurse Manager reports directly to the Director of the Emergency Department and is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day coordination and quality of clinical nursing care for patients in the Emergency Department. The successful candidate will manage human resources at the unit level in a cost-effective manner, promptly investigate and resolve complaints from patients, visitors, staff, and physicians, and advise management accordingly.
The ED Clinical Manager will also oversee the responsibilities of the Prehospital Liaison Nurse (PLN) and fulfill the role as defined in the Base Hospital contract between JFK Memorial Hospital and Riverside County Emergency Medical Services Agency (REMSA).
