JFK Memorial Hospital has provided medical care to residents in the Coachella Valley since 1966. A group of physicians, including Dr. Reynaldo Carreon, founded the hospital and today one of JFK’s cross streets is named in his honor.
Originally called Indio Community Hospital, JFK has grown to a 145-bed acute-care hospital that is part of Tenet Healthcare California. It offers a variety of services, including:

Position Overview:
Under the direction of a licensed staff, the L&D OB Tech gathers data for patient assessment and provides basic nursing care according to the plan of care for patients in L&D.
The OB Tech maintains patient rooms and nursing unit in a clean, organized and environmentally safe manner.
The OB Tech orders and stocks unit and office supplies to meet patient care needs.
The OB Tech acts as the communication hub for the department.
The OB Tech uses sterile technique to prepare and assist with deliveries and C-Section Surgery.
Shift: 0700-1930
Schedule: 3 shifts weekly.
