We are looking for an experienced Assembly Process Optimization Specialist to join our team at John Galt Staffing. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for optimizing the assembly process of complex mechanical structures.
About the Role:
- Assembly Process Expertise: Develop and implement optimized assembly strategies for each step, working closely with system teams to ensure efficient and safe processes.
- Work Instruction Packet Development: Create comprehensive assembly work instruction packets for SPARC sub-assemblies, incorporating them into assembly work orders to streamline the assembly process.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improving the work instruction packet and work order creation process, increasing standardization, efficiency, and safety.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with assembly engineers, tooling engineers, designers, coordinators, and direct personnel performing Tokamak Assembly during on-site work to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in integrating complex and large mechanical structures (e.g., aerospace, chemical) and creating work instruction packets.
- Bachelor's or associate degree in a related field (e.g., metrology, high-vacuum projects and processes).
- Familiarity with manufacturing management software and NX.
