• Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Regular and predictable attendance is essential for this position

  • Utilize precision millwright skills and knowledge to disassemble, inspect, diagnose and repair typical petrochemical rotating equipment, including pumps, blowers, compressors, etc.
  • Assemble new rotating equipment for shipment to customers, including precision equipment assembly, coupling and motor installation, equipment alignment, guarding installation, etc.
  • Properly document work scope, as-found/as-left repair information, etc.
  • Ability and initiative to potentially manage multiple projects with little oversight
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Available to work overtime and weekends as deemed necessary
  • Able and willing to work on-call and off shift as required by customers and/or management.

   

  Certifications, Education and Experience:

  • Associate Degree, NCCER, or Trade School in craft preferred, but not required.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in maintenance, repair, and/or assembly of typical petrochemical rotating equipment; Will consider lesser experience depending upon background, exhibited knowledge level, etc.
  • In-depth, hands-on knowledge of typical petrochemical rotating equipment including (but not limited to) pumps, blowers, agitators, compressors, etc.
  • Experience with equipment component balancing preferred, specifically pump impeller balancing, assembled rotor balancing, etc.
  • Experience with manual machining activities preferred, specifically lathe and milling machine.
