JHNA is seeking Junior Software Engineer to support our government customer in Patuxent River, MD.
Roles/Responsibilities:
- Analyze software engineering/software integration problems.
- Perform software integration and testing for aircraft avionics systems.
- Perform software management and integration functions, improve existing computer systems, and review computer system capabilities
- Develop and apply automated solutions to problems.
- Use development tools to update tasks and stories, check-in, and version control.
- Analyze commercially available, open source, government furnished, and contractor furnished software.
- Analyze architectural and functional requirements, specifications, and interfaces.
- Contribute to software specifications and designs for proposed solutions.
Qualifications Required:
- Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a secret clearance. The ideal candidate will currently possess an active clearance
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or computer engineering. Degrees in Engineering, Math, and Physics may qualify with at least 1 year of C experience.
- 1 year of relevant experience
- Experience with bash scripting, database, and programming languages.
- Must have Linux/Windows troubleshooting skills.
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Salary : $105,000 - $115,000
