Day in the life of a Director of Innovation
- Oversee and implement changes in approaches, methods and processes to enhance competitiveness and improve efficiencies
- Identify, develop and drive initiatives that champion innovation by aligning the shared services departments with the company growth plan and goals
- Identify trends in marketing and develop a marketing plan to fill the 3-day call board
- Strengthen the connection between the marketing department, customer service department, and overall customer experience
- Lead the HR team by presenting new and innovative ideas to drive employee engagement and increase recruitment success
- Assist IT in developing new methods to enhance efficiencies company wide
- Other duties as assigned
What We Need
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related discipline required; Master's degree preferred
- Someone who has experience in marketing, IT, and/or finance related fields
- A results oriented professional with excellent verbal/written communication skills, using diplomacy and discretion as well as strong customer service skills
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Natural ability to lead and push teams to reach goals
- Enthusiasm and positivity
- High problem-solving capability with critical thinking on long-term outcomes
- Must have advanced capabilities in excel
- Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, attention to detail and meet deadlines
- Valid driver’s license with a clean DMV record; maintain a good driving record in compliance with John Henry’s requirements
- Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screen and criminal and driving background checks
