Job Description
This is a full-time contract position; 35 hours per week commencing as soon as possible. The Society is seeking a candidate from the Indigenous community who will join a team of youth workers in a program focused on reducing youth violence. The program aims to build resiliency, strengths and skills in youth through education and awareness to prevent and reduce youth violence. The program addresses risk factors for youth violence with a focus on Indigenous, Black and newcomer youth. Primary components of the program will include case management, and the delivery of psycho-educational programming aimed at reducing youth violence.
