Part Time : Laundry Aide 8:00AM - 4:00PM Thursday and Friday

- Provide proper laundry service by means of sorting, washing, drying, folding and ironing. Service provided is prompt and efficient.
- Understand infection control measures associated potential exposure to blood or body fluids including proper use of personal protective equipment such as gloves, gown, and mask.
- Demonstrate safe use of various cleaning products according to label instructions and properly labels chemicals when transferred to other containers.
- Accommodates needs of residents/patients and other departments through efficiencies and flexibility.
- Pickup and deliver laundry throughout the village.
- Assists with daily maintenance of equipment.
- Report any concerns or incidents timely to supervisor or manager.
- Report all maintenance work orders, places all service calls for machines.
- Maintain clean work environment.
- Follow posted chart of proper washing/dryer cycles.
- Requires standing for long periods of time, frequent walking, frequent lifting up to 50 pounds, occasionally pushing/pulling over 50 pounds.
- Employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.
