What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grounds Manager position at John Knox Village of Florida, Inc.?
John Knox Village is looking for a self-motivated, experienced, and knowledgeable Grounds Manager for a Full-Time position, M-F 7:00am-3:00pm.
This is an exciting and dynamic position, providing campus-wide safety and disaster management to the John Knox Village community
Some of your daily activities will include completing preventative grounds and landscaping tasks within the documented timeline, which also includes initiating work orders, completing projects, and maintaining records. You will also be overseeing the grounds and landscaping department, putting together staff schedules, overseeing work that has been completed, and conducting employee training. Special projects and improvements will be planned out and budgeted, along with inventory and ordering. This position offers a wide variety of problem-solving and management for a self-motivated individual!
We would love to talk to someone who has 5 year's experience in a grounds management position, extreme organizational skills, and the ability to read blueprints would be preferred. Working knowledge of irrigation, pest control, and major tree trimming operations is required.
