Pastor
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Preacher for Sunday morning services and Communion. The preacher will be responsible for developing and preaching relevant topics to Residents in a CCRC. Communicate and share resident feedback, concerns and comments to JKV Full Time Spiritual Life Leader. JKV is open to additional hours with additional responsibilities and duties.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Develop and preach relevant topics to residents in a retirement community.
· Provide support as needed after the service
· Report concerns, comments, needs to JKV Full Time Spiritual Life Leader
Required Skills/Inter-Personal Skills/Abilities/Qualifications/Education and Experience:
· Degree in religious studies, or a related field.
· 5 years of experience in Preaching
· Ordained Minister to provide Communion
· Strong understanding of life phases, specifically end of life.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· English read, write, and speak fluently
· Creative thinker with a passion for people.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
· Strong problem-solving skills.
· Strong leadership skills.
