John L. Scott Puyallup Main Office Sales Manager
John L. Scott is looking for an experienced, successful Real Estate Broker or Branch Manager to join our team, as a Sales Manager, for our office in Puyallup, WA. The Sales Manager for John L. Scott works closely with the Office Leader & Business Coach, to implement and maintain a business plan to recruit, retain and coach Broker Associates. The Sales Managers works 30 hours per week and are able to continue to conduct their own real estate transactions, in accordance with the JLS Office Leader policy. Our ideal candidate will be technologically savvy and has successfully executed campaigns via social media, embraces new systems and programs and most importantly, understands and believes that our business is built on relationships and transactional excellence. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Positively communicates and facilitates visions, policies, procedures and practices
· Acts as the first point of contact for broker associates at the Puyallup office
· Growth of branch profitability and market share through selective recruiting and retention of broker associates.
· Supports the Vice President of Residential Operations in attracting, interviewing, and selecting new broker associates
· Maintains legal integrity at all times, has extensive knowledge of NW MLS documents and contracts
· Coach brokers to the growth and success of their business as follows: Conducts training as needed to achieve productivity and individual goals; facilitates the use of JLS Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools; facilitates understanding the benefit of supporting our Client Services through personal example and through coaching conversations.
· Helps brokers with Business Planning, Review and Accountability.
· Oversees the broker associate mentorship program
· Participates in Puyallup Office events, Company-wide events and Industry events. Promote office involvement of local and regional activities in the market place.
· Available as a resource for contract review and to address transaction scenarios with broker associates
· Develops strong relationships with broker associates and provides opportunities for unity, such as appreciation events and activities
· Continually develops client, broker, and management relationships.
· Oral and written communication: effectively articulates complex concepts through oral or written means to individuals or groups.
· Promotes sustaining and growing a positive office environment alongside the Office Administrator
· Leadership: Uses appropriate styles and methods of guiding individuals or groups toward task accomplishment.
· JLS Value Proposition: executes on the JLS plan to promote utilization of JLS tools.
· Compliance and Legal Integrity: ensures compliance with all state, federal, and local legal requirements.
· Real Estate Transactions: coaches to problem solving broker transaction-related issues and challenges.
· Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
· Must have proven integrity and trustworthiness.
· Must be receptive to new ideas, and candid in the sharing of useful information.
· Must exhibit a professional appearance and demeanor.
· Prefer experience in management of staff and/or broker associates
Experience and Licensing:
· Must have a Managing Broker (WA) license as required to supervise other real estate licensees, or obtain such license within six (6) months of hire
· A minimum of 3 years real estate sales experience
· Managing experience is a plus!
· Proven track record of successfully establishing and utilizing systems to grow their real estate sales business.
Position & Benefits:
· This position is approximately 30 hours per week. This position is considered non-exempt for purposes of Wage and Hour Law.
· The pay is from $26.45 to $36.06 per hour.
