Join our dynamic team as a Construction Project Engineer! In this role, you will work closely with the Project Manager on exciting construction projects and play a vital part in ensuring their success. This position involves daily activities that include gathering and disseminating important information to subcontractors, consultants, architects, and clients. We seek adaptable team players with excellent communication and client service skills.
Your daily responsibilities will include :
- Managing assigned trades including quantity take-off, preparation of bid packages, and procurement.
- Initiating, preparing, reviewing, and tracking Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Receiving, reviewing, forwarding, and tracking the status of Submittals.
- Assisting in the management of the project permit process.
- Handling change management systems, which includes soliciting, receiving, reviewing, and preparing quotations and change orders.
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly owner project status reports as required.
- Attending and / or leading project meetings as assigned.
- Coordinating project details and managing Document Control.
- Assisting and / or leading project close-out activities.
- Understanding, communicating, and enforcing the JMA Safety & Health Management Plan.
