About the Role As a Product Manager, Merchandise & Accessories, reporting to the EVP of Global Marketing, you will be an integral part of the Brand Marketing team at JPMS. You will drive product innovation and development to fuel our brands' growth and profitability. You are highly strategic and organized, and will partner with your Brand peers, Purchasing, Creative, Finance, and Operations to bring products to market in a timely and efficient manner. What You will Do : New Product Development Drive product and packaging development and sourcing, leading communication with vendors, manufacturers, and agencies Identify product gaps and opportunities Develop product briefs and spec sheets Lead product quality analysis and control Build, develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, agencies and cross-functional team members Logistics Initiate RFQ's, qualify and recommend suppliers, negotiate and secure advantageous terms Process and communicate cost-benefit analysis for margin impact, profitability, risk mitigation, and factory performance to drive efficiency and continuous improvement objectives Partner with the Purchasing team to ensure new product launches and replenishments occur on time and within budget Establish product standards and inspection criteria; partner with Operations to coordinate inspections Product Management Support new product forecasts development for owned categories Coordinate vendor POs with Purchasing team and client invoices with Finance team Lead cost savings initiatives to drive down portfolio COGS in partnership with the Purchasing team New Product Launches (NPL) Project Management Collaborating with Project Manager(s) and relevant cross-functional partners to build and validate New Product Development timelines Ad-hoc Support searching and vetting agencies, vendors, manufacturers for new product development Spot innovation Other ad-hoc projects support Who You Are : Have a strong work ethic and can-do attitude, leaving a positive impression on everyone you interact with Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional stakeholders, fostering a cohesive team environment Strong time management skills and able to act with a sense of urgency Highly organized, detail oriented and efficient multitasker Self-starter and thrives in a fast-paced environment with minimal guidance Comfortable wearing many hats and moving fluidly between tasks Utilize relevant industry jargon and terminology consistently in both verbal and written communications Act and propose new ideas and solutions before asked You are positive, upbeat, and friendly—with a can-do attitude and a knack for solving problems Self-described beauty enthusiast, passionate about hair Requirements : What You'll Need : Skills : Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint Strong verbal and written communication skills Superior project management and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain a keen attention to detail and work well under pressure Strong problem-solving skills Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task in a timely manner Passionate about innovation and beauty Possess a keen eye for product design Education : Bachelor's degree in Business or related field required Experience : 5 years' experience in product development, management, and / or sourcing Beauty industry preferred Competitive Compensation : The expected base salary range for this position is $100,000 to $110,000. The exact base salary is determined by various factors including geographic location, experience, skills, and education. Discretionary Bonus Plan : This position is also eligible for participation in the company discretionary bonus plan, based on personal performance and company results.
