Banquet Server
Summary
Serve food and drinks in a professional manner. The Server position employees are members of local union B-148 of the International Alliance of Theater Stage Employees of America.
Essential Functions
- Serve food services products to customers as directed by management. Must be able to carry a service tray with ten (10) plated dinners.
- Have knowledge of the organization’s food and beverage preparation and offerings.
- Ability to serve alcoholic beverages.
- Able to interact with guests in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Maintain specific side-work and ensure the total cleanliness and smooth operation of the facility.
- Ability to clear and reset tables.
- Check identification of guests to ensure guests are of legal age to consume alcoholic beverages. Refuse to serve beverages in a polite manner to guests who are not of legal age.
- All guests must be treated in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction. Always strive to exceed guests’ expectations.
- Report to work in a neat and clean uniform. Well-groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential.
