Summary:
Focus of work is to increase sales to achieve maximum productivity and efficiency while achieving the goal of providing the highest quality service to our clients. Maintains, through leadership, example and organization, a talented, happy, motivated, efficient and well-informed production team that produces quality work. Exhibits a fair and even-handed attitude toward all employees. Enforces all company policies and procedures. Works in coordination with other Landscape Consultants and reports directly to the Branch Manager. Works in cooperation with other company managers to maximize company resources.
Responsibilities:
This position may require the employee to perform all, but not limited to, the tasks listed below.
I. Production
a. Assists Landscape Production Leaders in the scheduling of crews, allocation of employee assignments, vehicles, equipment, materials and tools.
b. Helps coordinate communication to crews regarding property tasks and oversees efforts of assigned crews to ensure top quality service.
c. Works with Landscape Production Leader to inventory, identify and issue tools, equipment, and other assets to company personnel, documenting each issued item.
d. Assists in the ordering, delivery and tagging of plant material for jobs.
e. Assists in the maintenance of supplies and materials in holding areas.
f. Coordinates, oversees and undertakes (as needed) irrigation start-ups, minor repairs, check-ups and turn-offs for irrigation systems of clients.
g. Helps coordinate, facilitate and supervise additional services performed by crews such as fall mulching, integrated pest management and the flower pot rotation program.
II. Administrative/Human Resources/Safety and Training
a. Assists in the on-going crew orientation and training/safety program and ensures that all crew members are trained according to company policy based on Company Handbook.
b. Ensures the timely and proper reporting and handling of employee job-related personnel or vehicle related accidents, injuries or illnesses. Ensures proper completion of all related paperwork.
c. Assists the Branch Administrator/Accounting in resolving billing and accounts receivable issues with the clients.
III. Customer Service/Sales and Horticultural Oversight
a. Sets appointments and meets with potential and existing clients requiring landscape services.
b. Generates and provides clients with an accurate scope of work and/or action plan that reflects their aesthetic interests and the cultural characteristics of their property.
c. Responds to client’s questions and concerns regarding services and abides by the company plant material warranty.
d. Ensures required data is entered and kept accurate in the customer relationship management (CRM) system.
e. Reviews and understands contractual obligations for all work which is assigned.
f. Communicates with clients on a regular basis to ensure that expectations are being met; responds to clients’ concerns and requests in a timely manner.
g. Coordinates and undertakes assessments of all properties according to an agreed-upon schedule discussed with Branch Manager to ensure that quality is upheld and communication is consistent.
h. Supports Branch marketing and sales efforts
Reporting Relationships:
1) Reports to the Branch Manager
2) Coordinates with sales and production managers, Branch Administrator, Accounting
Compensation and Benefits:
Pay Range: $75,000-95,000 a year
