DescriptionWe are in a period of unprecedented growth and are seeking a Network Engineer Access Networks to support our team out of our Charlotte, NC office.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyzing and designing Fiber-To-The-Premise (FTTP) access networks for ISPs.
- Implementing network designs for access networks and configuring equipment / related systems.
- Performing network upgrades and subscriber migrations.
- Configuring and testing Ethernet circuits.
- Directly working with ISPs to troubleshoot issues in existing access networks.
- Documenting and diagramming networks, relevant processes, and troubleshooting steps.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly and understandably.
- Keeping up with industry developments, new technologies, and best practices.
- Improving knowledge and expertise through independent research, practice, and industry-accepted certifications.
- This is an in-office role working out of our Charlotte, NC, location.
- This position will require occasional night work.
- This position will require up to 20% travel.
