What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substitute Teacher position at John Swett Unified?
We provide our substitute teachers with excellent working conditions, personalized support, access to emergency lesson plans, and immediate responsiveness from our administrators and teacher leaders. Individuals who hold a valid California credential which required the completion of a bachelor's degree and CBEST are authorized to serve as day to day substitutes. You can qualify to apply for a document authorizing substitute teaching if you hold a bachelor's degree and have taken and passed CBEST. We will help you apply for a Certificate of Clearance from the California Teaching Commission and reimburse you for the fingerprinting fee. We will help you obtain all of these documents with a dedicated staff member to walk our applicants through the process. It's easy!
