To advance all student skills in mathematics
1. Effectively deliver math instruction using best teaching practices for middle school
aged students.
2. Able to teach pre-algebra or algebra in addition to general math.
3. Use long range planning to ensure that the curriculum is met and aligned with state
standards.
4. Plans comprehensive math lessons embedding a variety of instructional strategies to
reach all students.
5. Creates engaging and interactive math lessons.
6. Analyze student assessment results to help inform instruction.
7. Provide meaningful assignments and feedback to students in a timely manner.
8. Maintain frequent contact with families and provides a proactive approach to
communication.
9. Effectively co-teach in an inclusion setting.
10. Maintain records of student achievement.
11. Demonstrates solid work ethics: Punctual, organized, lessons well-planned out ahead
