Duties
- Assist in the preparation and pouring of concrete for various structures including foundations, sidewalks, and walls.
- Utilize tools and equipment for mixing, pouring, and finishing concrete surfaces.
- Perform tasks related to plastering and stucco applications as needed.
- Engage in masonry work to support construction activities.
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications and requirements.
- Operate heavy equipment safely and effectively when required.
- Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople on-site to ensure smooth workflow.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Previous experience in concrete labor or related construction fields is preferred.
- Familiarity with plastering, stucco application, masonry techniques, and metal stud framing is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of construction estimating principles is beneficial.
- Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions accurately.
- Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods.
