What are the responsibilities and job description for the Allocation Analyst I position at John Wood Group?
- Provides accurate and timely accruals and close volumes to revenue accounting
- Constructs new wells, and production measurement equipment in Avocet.
- Maintains relationships with field operators, foreman, and superintendents in the use of Avocet/Field Operator data entry
- Supports team on reconciling volume variances between allocated volumes, estimated daily volumes, and purchaser statements using Avocet and Spotfire
- Prepares and files state and federal production reports
- Enters, and reconciles crude oil and water tickets to 3rd party statements
- Processes PPA’s when necessary
- Understands field equipment and process flows
- Prepares partner reports of monthly reporting
- Participates in system upgrades and testing.
Minimum Associate’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Energy Technology, Business/Finance or similar with Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of Oil and Gas Industry experience
Minimum of 3 years of Oil and Gas production accounting and regulatory reporting experience
Understands production accounting, including allocation methods and reconciliation.
Understands measurement, field data capture, process flows, and production networks.
Ability to analyze data and reach own conclusions.
Professional oral and written communication style.
Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Conflict resolution skills.
Must possess good Excel skills.
Must possess good organizational skills
Must be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task with attention to accuracy
