What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Helper position at John Wood Group?
- Requires comprehension of English to read, write and understand verbal communication
- Must have knowledge of and a good attitude toward general safety practices
- Reads work orders, work permits and safety instructions to determine location of work, job instructions, safety requirements, hazard information, evacuation plan, etc.
- Loads, unloads and moves materials, tools and equipment manually or using carts, dollies, etc.
- Assists in setting up work site, including placing barricades and warning signs
- Performs general housekeeping duties, including removing and disposing of scrap materials and cleaning up work areas
