- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as needed.
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or airless paint spraying equipment.
- Perform drywall repairs and finish work to ensure smooth surfaces prior to painting.
- Execute trim carpentry tasks to enhance the aesthetic appeal of painted areas.
- Collaborate with construction teams on-site to ensure project timelines are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist in estimating materials needed for projects and managing inventory of supplies.
Skills
- Proficiency in commercial painting techniques and practices.
- Experience with frame carpentry and trim carpentry is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with construction site operations and safety regulations.
- Knowledge of drywall installation and finishing processes.
- Ability to perform concrete finishing tasks as required.
- Competence in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
