JOHNLEONARD is seeking a hybrid, full-time Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Manager based in Boston or New York. This exciting role comes with a competitive salary range of $105K-$150K and a comprehensive benefits package.
As a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Manager, you will report to the Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer and work closely with DEI, Business Development, Professional Development and Equity Advisory Council teams to develop firm equity functions. To give you an idea of what else you will be responsible for in this role, here are some things you can expect to take on:
- Manage all aspects of the firm’s Equity Advisory Council (EAC) and teams responsible for the EAC academy
- Coordinate business and professional development functions for attorneys, such as coaching, counseling, or training
- Maintain database information, strategy, feedback, and meeting notes
- Network internally and externally to maintain a robust network to leverage on behalf of the EAC
The successful Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Manager applicant will have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 7 years of Professional or Business Development experience in a professional service environment. Experience in a law firm is preferred. Additional qualifications include:
- Demonstrated commitment to equity, inclusion, and belonging
- Ability to take initiative to lead complex teams and communicate effectively
- High degree of responsiveness and ability to understand and motivate people at varying seniority levels
- Strong project management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and presentation tools
