Our client is hiring an Estate Settlement Advisor to support clients in complex estate settlement functions. This full-time hybrid role will be located in the heart of downtown Boston and comes with a competitive salary range of up to $180K, plus competitive benefits.
The Estate Settlement Advisor will be responsible for:
- Handling all stages of estate settlements
- Preparing state and federal estate and/or inheritance tax returns
- Estate tax planning and gift tax support
- Overseeing all aspects of probate accounting
The ideal Estate Settlement Advisor should have a Juris Doctorate, 10 years of demonstrated estate settlement experience, and membership to the MA Bar Association. You will also need:
- Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office, Portfolio Management Systems, and CCH Axcess Systems
- Exceptional project management and client-service skills
- Ability to communicate effectively, including the ability to explain complex estate planning and tax concepts to clients
- Meticulous attention to detail, proactive work ethic, and adaptability
