JOHNLEONARD is seeking a hybrid, full-time Legal Recruiting Manager for an exceptional legal firm in Boston. In this role, you will work under the Senior Manager of Legal Recruiting. This exciting role comes with a competitive benefits package and a salary range.
As a Legal Recruiting Manager, you will be responsible for the successful firm-wide recruitment and onboarding of law students, lateral associate attorneys, technical professionals, law clerks, and entry-level attorneys. You will have a firm understanding of firm practices and oversee a team of recruiting professionals. To give you an idea of how this Legal Recruiting Manager role would look and feel, here are some things you can expect to do:
- Maintain and develop all components of student recruiting process including outreach, pipelining, summer programs, and decisions
- Manage pre-OCI, OCI, post-OCI, and interview processes
- Design firm-wide summer associate program
- Build relationships with law schools, student groups, and organizations
- Supervise lateral attorney recruitment and maintain accurate candidate files
The successful Legal Recruiting Manager applicant will have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of professional recruiting experience. Experience recruiting law students and managing staff is preferred. Additional qualifications include:
- Ability to communicate effectively and take initiative
- Eager collaborator and ability to gain trust from firm professional staff and attorney’s
- Keen analytical, organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office tools
- Ability to travel to networking and recruiting events
