Description
Each job at B&B Theatres is different and requires varied levels of experience, knowledge, and competency. Your job is to fulfill your delegations as outlined here, sure, but also to embrace and represent our core values: family, fun, innovation, joy, and integrity. The theatre is open 365 days a year with holidays being some of our busiest times. While we work with everyone to make sure they have time with their families, we also must make sure the corporate office is staffed.
Job Duties include but are not limited to:
- Greeting Guests as they enter and putting them on a waiting list as necessary.
- Providing Guests with menus and answering any initial questions.
- Seating Guests at tables or in waiting areas.
- Assigning Guests to tables they prefer, while keeping table rotation in mind so that servers receive the right number of customers.
- Engaging with Guests to ensure they're happy with food and service.
- Responding to complaints and helping to resolve them.
- Answering phone calls, taking reservations, and answering questions.
- Knowledge of the menu.
- Helping with other positions in the restaurant as needed.
- Providing great customer service.
- Cleaning.
- Completing any other duties as delegated or directed by your supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be at least 18 years old at the time of hire.
- Positive attitude.
- Ability to work well under pressure with bussers, cooks, and other staff.
- Previous work experience involving customer service in a fast-paced environment is greatly desired.
- Must have the availability to open and/or close regularly.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Physical demands include but are not limited to:
- The employee will be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel or crouch. Reasonable accommodations for disabilities will be provided, both short term and permanent.
- Must be able to move and transport up to 35 lbs.
