Description

The theatre is open 365 days a year with holidays being some of our busiest times. While we work with everyone to make sure they have time with their families, we also must make sure the theatre is staffed.
Job Duties include but are not limited to:
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to Guests’ tables rapidly and accurately.
- Act as the contact point between Front of the House and Back of the House staff.
- Communicate food orders to chefs, paying attention to priorities and special requests (e.g., food allergies).
- Assist the wait staff with table setting by fetching and placing appropriate tableware, eating utensils, and napkins.
- Ensure food is served in accordance with safety standards (e.g., proper temperature).
- Check in with Guests and take additional orders and refill water as needed.
- Remove dirty dishes and utensils.
- Answer Guests’ questions about ingredients and menu items.
- Inform restaurant staff about Guests’ feedback or requests (e.g., when they ask for the check).
- Make sure families with young children get kids menus and special silverware sets.
- Food handling certification may be required according to legal regulations.
- Cleaning.
- Completing any other duties as delegated or directed by your supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be 18 years old at the time of hire.
- Previous working experience in a similar entry-level in a restaurant preferred.
- Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules.
- Have a positive attitude.
- Multi-tasking abilities.
- Ability to work well under pressure with bussers, cooks, and other staff.
- Good oral communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced work environment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Physical demands include but are not limited to:
- The employee will be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel or crouch. Reasonable accommodations for disabilities will be provided, both short term and permanent.
