Responsibilities:
- Clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area
- Assist with food preparation and plating as needed
- Support banquet and catering events by ensuring a steady supply of clean dishes
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a clean dining area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Ability to work as part of a team and take direction from supervisors
- Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation procedures
Skills:
- Cleanliness: Ensuring dishes, utensils, and equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized
- Banquet: Assisting with the setup and cleanup of banquet events
- Cook: Assisting with food preparation tasks as needed
- Catering: Supporting catering events by maintaining a steady supply of clean dishes
- Bussing: Clearing tables and maintaining a clean dining area
- Hotel: Experience working in a hotel or hospitality setting is a plus
- Food preparation: Assisting with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables or portioning ingredients
- Food service: Providing excellent customer service while assisting with food-related tasks
- Food handling: Knowledge of proper food handling techniques to ensure safety and sanitation standards are met
- Restaurant: Experience working in a restaurant or food service establishment is preferred
