Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant team at Johnny's New York Style pizza. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences and thrive in a fast-paced environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests enjoy their time with us, from taking orders to delivering food and beverages with a smile.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take food and drink orders accurately using the POS system.
• Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our standards.
• Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables and service stations.
• Assist in managing guest relations by addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations while serving guests.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Server is preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is essential.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
• A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure in a busy setting.
• Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $2.15 - $2.16 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
