COMA is actively seeking a Program Manager (PM) for Advanced Research to lead cutting-edge research projects in areas of national significance. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of emerging science and technology trends, particularly in the cyber domain, a proven ability to manage multidisciplinary research initiatives, and experience collaborating with sponsors and stakeholders in government, academia, and industry. The Program Manager will be responsible for driving technical excellence, ensuring program objectives are met, and cultivating a culture of innovation within their team.

- Cultivate the vision and strategy for Advanced Research. Identify emerging science., technology, research and development opportunities relevant to national security, particularly in the cyber domain. Seek domain expertise across APL and within the commercial and government community and facilitate partnership between the sponsors, external partners and APL to advance research in support of the critical challenges of our sponsors. Engage the science and technology sponsors to identify opportunities for APL to advance ways to close gaps making critical contributions to critical challenges for our government sponsors.

Qualifications
You meet our minimum qualifications for the job if you...
Masters Degree in a relevant scientific or technical field (e.g., data science, computer science, electrical engineering, physics or related field)
Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
Ability to manage performance, cost, and schedule through the full life cycle of a project
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders in the science and technology community
Minimum of 8 years of experience managing research and development programs, including experience with government sponsors
Hold an active TS / SCI security clearance. If selected, you will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship

The referenced pay range is based on JHU APLs good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education / training and skill level with consideration for internal parity. For salaried employees scheduled to work less than 40 hours per week, annual salary will be prorated based on the number of hours worked. APL may offer bonuses or other forms of compensation per internal policy and / or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be provided in the form of a sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, locality allowance or discretionary payments for exceptional performance. APL provides eligible staff with a comprehensive benefits package including retirement plans, paid time off, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, flexible spending accounts, education assistance, and training and development.
