What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Medical Assistant Pediatric Cardiology position at Johns Hopkins Medicine?
The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)in the Pediatric Cardiology Clinic functions as an assistant in the examination and treatment of patients under Physician/Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner supervision in the ambulatory service clinical setting.
Shifts: 8 hour shifts Monday-Friday; no weekends
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program required
- Completion of CMA certification with the credentials of RMA, NCMA, NRCMA, CCMA or CMAA required prior to hire
- Valid CPR certification required upon hire
- Ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of CMA experience
Salary Range: Minimum $18.15 per hour - Maximum $27.65 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
