What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Assistant - Imaging Services position at Johns Hopkins Medicine?
The Imaging Patient Assistant facilitates patient flow by greeting patients and preparing them for their examination, acting as a chaperone, uploading images and performing other non-technologist functions when appropriate. Enters data into hospital information system, transports films within the hospital and transports patients, if necessary.
Work Location: Washington D.C.
Full time Days, 9:30am - 6pm
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Medical setting experience desired.
- General knowledge of Radiology exams and/or anatomy desired.
- Must be able to carry, lift or push up to 30lbs.
Salary Range: Minimum 17.76/hour - Maximum 24.95/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
