The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for a variety of duties to assist in the preparation and packaging of medications, distribution and delivery of medications, supporting the maintenance of proper inventory levels and, keeping appropriate records and documentation.

REQUIREMENTS
Pharmacy Technician I
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Current registration with the State of Maryland as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Must pass the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) exam within two years of hire.
Pharmacy Technician II
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Current registration in the State of Maryland as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Current ChPT with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
- Minimum of 3-6 months of work experience as a Pharmacy Technician, hospital pharmacy setting preferred.
- Intravenous (IV) Certification within 90 days of hire.

Salary Range: Minimum 17.28 per hour - Maximum 20.06 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
