Summary:
The Privacy Compliance Analyst is responsible for assisting the Johns Hopkins Privacy Office in efforts to attain compliance with the HIPAA privacy regulations by the Johns Hopkins Health System and Johns Hopkins University in their health care activities. The Privacy Compliance Analyst provides this assistance by developing audit protocols and procedures, reviewing and analyzing the activities of workforce members in accessing and otherwise using the various Johns Hopkins Medicine electronic clinical record systems to identify possible inappropriate use and/or disclosure of protected health information, and assisting in the development of summary reports and corrective action plans.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree required. Years of experience beyond required experience may be substituted on a 2:1 basis.

Experience:

A minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of relevant work in data management and analysis and/or project management or related field. • Information technology experience preferred.

Salary Range: Minimum 25.73 per hour - Maximum 42.48 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
