The role of the Clinical Office Coordinator involves delivering direct patient care to high-risk obstetrical patients. This encompasses a range of responsibilities, including but not limited to conducting and interpreting electronic fetal monitoring, carrying out suitable assessments and interventions for both the mother and baby, evaluating the outcomes of these interventions, and appropriately responding to abnormal lab results as directed by MFM physicians.
Additionally, this position entails overseeing the smooth transition of patients from outpatient care to inpatient care, along with providing direct patient education. The Clinical Office Coordinator also plays a vital role in facilitating clinical outreach, engaging in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives, and contributing to performance enhancement. Furthermore, assistance with program development is also a part of this role.
The Center for Maternal and Fetal Medicine is located at the Little Patuxent Specialty Care Center at Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center (11065 Little Patuxent Pkwy, Suite 100), a designated Perinatal Referral Center by the Maryland Institute of Emergency Medical Services Systems. The Center is equipped to manage any high-risk situation that may arise during your pregnancy and to provide you with comprehensive care.

- Screens testing patients for signs of pregancy complications

Education & Experience Requirements:
- BSN, NP, or PA required.
- Current MD RN licensure or licensure in a compact state that allows practice in MD, or NP, or PA.
- CPR & EFM certifications required. EFM certification preferred at time of hire.
- Current certification in High Risk OB preferred.
Salary Range: Minimum 36.31 per hour - Maximum 56.28 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
