General Summary:
- The diagnostic Sonographer is responsible for producing diagnostic information using the sonography equipment and related diagnostic techniques. The Sonographer acquires and evaluates data, while exercising discretion and judgment in performance of the clinical examination.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have attended an approved school for Diagnostic Sonography or have equivalent experience which is accepted for registration with the R.D.M.S. Must be registered in abdomen or OB-GYN by the R.D.M.S.
- Current CPR certification required.
Shift: PRN/Casual; Rotating shifts with weekends and holidays required. Special need for Sunday night coverage from 10:30 PM - 7 AM, and every other Sunday from 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM, plus some week coverage as needed.
Salary Range: Minimum 54.00 per hour - Maximum 54.00 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
