Job Title: Medical Oncology Nurse Practitioner
Location: Sibley Memorial Hospital and Sibley Medical Oncology at Unity, Washington, DC

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5 days
The Nurse Practitioner works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team and is responsible for providing and coordinating comprehensive and age appropriate care to both well and ill patients at the Sibley Medical Oncology at Unity. Educates patients and families, intervenes in acute or chronic illness, coordinates oncologic care between Unity, Sibley and Howard and other providers as appropriate. Obtains appropriate patient histories and performs physical examinations. Other activities are in support of patient/family education, staff education, unit activities, and psychosocial care of patient and family.
Qualifications:
- MSN/DNP from an accredited nursing program required.
- Active DC RN and CRNP licenses are required
- Current certifications as an Adult Nurse Practitioner (or Adult/Gerontologic)
- Within 12 months of employment AOCNP: Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner required.
- BLS CPR certification required: AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted
- Minimum of 2 years in an advanced practice role, Oncology experience required.

Salary Range: Minimum 57.99 per hour - Maximum 89.88 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
