Key Responsibilities:
- Review and enter weekly and biweekly timecards with precision to ensure accurate payroll processing.
- Process and input data for new hires, personnel change forms, and all employee-requested modifications seamlessly.
- Provide backup support for payroll operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
- Generate and distribute various payroll reports, including commissions and labor reports, to keep the team informed.
- Actively monitor and respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and management, ensuring a high level of customer service.
- Assist the Payroll Manager by providing additional support during peak times or special projects.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the payroll process by handling ad hoc pay-related matters and projects.
- Support accounts payable and other ad hoc accounting department functions as needed.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance to meet payroll deadlines.
What We’re Looking For:
- Familiarity with UKG payroll software is advantageous.
- Capability to sit for extended periods at a computer.
- A solid understanding of accounting concepts and principles.
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities to effectively interact with team members and management.
