The Global Head, Medical Affairs Strategy & Execution Neuroscience will be responsible to support the strategic execution of global medical affairs activities for the assigned areas.
They will directly support the medical affairs strategies, in addition to leading key scientific congress medical affairs activities, external scientific engagement, broad operational execution using industry leading approaches, oversee the execution of pre-approval access programs and support the overall Therapeutic Area (TA) medical affairs budget.
They will also lead a team of asset and disease area focused team members in supporting the planning and execution of the global medical affairs strategy and activities. The Global Head of Medical Affairs Strategy and Execution is a key role in the Global Medical Affairs team .
They are accountable for supporting the overall execution and planning of medical affairs strategies and tactics including oversight of the integrated evidence and generation plans, scientific communication (Core Asset Themes, scientific communication platforms, global publication plans and R&D publication execution, internal knowledge exchange and dissemination, R&D congress planning and execution, external insights gathering (i.e.
advisory boards and KOL engagements) and support of early pipeline assets.
They are accountable for ensuring compliant execution of medical affairs strategies.
- Serve as a key advisor / partner to the Vice President of Neuroscience Global Medical Affairs and accountable for the overall strategic and operational aspects and budget of the global medical affairs strategic operations function for the TA.
- Partners cross functionally (R&D, Commercial, Legal, Compliance, Market Access, PRO, etc.), globally, and regionally to ensure flawless execution of the GMA strategy pre and post launch.
They contributes to Global Medical Affairs strategic planning and is accountable for leadership and oversight of the TA.
Excellent people leadership skills in a global matrix environment is required.
Effective leadership skills and proven ability to effectively manage stakeholders, foster team productivity and cohesiveness.
Excellent communication skills and the innate flexibility to work in a rapidly growing and highly matrixed organization.
Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan.
The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar / performance year.
