We are searching for the best talent for Intern, Translational Data Engineering and Solutions to be in Spring House, PA.
Translational Data Engineering & Solutions provides a comprehensive array of data services (ex. data storage, preprocessing analysis-ready data and visualization dashboarding) across therapeutic areas. We are looking for a Data Engineer who will, in collaboration with internal and external partners, support the operations of Janssen R&D Data Science and implement innovative solutions for handling large and sophisticated molecular and clinical datasets across Janssen's therapeutic areas. The candidate would ideally be a motivated and enthusiastic individual with strong technical and communication skills, ability to work independently and in teams, and a passion for learning.
You will be responsible for :
In this role, you will
- Design and implement platform components that are well-defined, modularized, secure, reliable, reusable, diagnosable, and actively monitored.
- Build required infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation and loading of data from various data sources using AWS and database technologies
- Perform programming tasks to support in-house data tools, platforms, pipelines, and workflows.
- Produce clean, efficient, and well-documented code based on specifications
