The Manager of Cybersecurity Software Engineering will lead the development of cutting-edge security solutions, applications, and infrastructure to provide security for Surgical Vision portfolio of equipment. In this pivotal role, the candidate will oversee the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of software architectures that are resilient against emerging threats. The candidate will collaborate cross functionally to understand the system from both a technical perspective and the user's viewpoint and guide the team in the design, review, development, testing, and release of the applications and infrastructure that ultimately enable surgeons on a next-generation surgical system to provide better patient outcomes. Your expertise will drive the development of secure coding practices, conduct risk assessments, and foster a culture of "secure by design" throughout the organization. As a leader, you will not only guide project execution but also mentor talented engineers, ensuring that our software solutions meet the highest standards of security and performance. Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing global team of engineers dedicated to creating secure applications and infrastructure ensuring robust software security and connectivity controls.
- Contribute to the design of software architecture to facilitate future enhancements and ensure iterative delivery aligns with security standards.
- Drive process improvements and foster collaboration to enhance productivity while maintaining stringent software security for our products.
- Analyze and implement security standards, collaborating with cross-functional corporate partners to identify and integrate applicable security requirements into product software.
- Collaborate closely with specialists in clinical engineering, systems engineering, instrumentation, integration, human factors, labeling, and manufacturing, as part of a focused multi-disciplinary team to find the correct balance between security and user experience.
- Interface with other software teams, Clinical Engineering, System Engineering, Product Marketing, and Program Management to define product requirements and validate features in alignment with security protocols.
- Engage with both internal and external third-party partners from technical and business perspectives to ensure comprehensive security measures are in place.
- Support a mixed tool and platform (C , Python, Web and Cloud Technologies) software development initiatives, actively participating in design discussions and code reviews as necessary to uphold quality and security standards.
- Identify, manage, and mitigate technical and project risks through effective coordination with R&D teams and external collaborators, ensuring project timelines and objectives are met.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $100,000 to $172,500. California Bay Area - The anticipated base pay range for this position is $114,000 to $197,800.
Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar / performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
The compensation and benefits information set forth in this posting applies to candidates hired in the United States. Candidates hired outside the United States will be eligible for compensation and benefits in accordance with their local market.
Salary : $114,000 - $197,800
