We are seeking an organized, creative, and detail-oriented Classroom Director to oversee the operations of our baking and decorating classroom. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating the class schedule, collaborating with instructors, preparing materials for classes, and ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for students and instructors alike.
Key Responsibilities
Class Calendar Management
Develop and maintain a detailed class calendar, ensuring a balanced and engaging schedule.
Coordinate with instructors to identify availability, class topics, and special events.
Update and communicate the class schedule with staff, students, and management.
Instructor Collaboration
Partner with instructors to design innovative and appealing classes that meet student needs.
Assist in planning course content, activities, and required materials.
Act as a point of contact for instructors, addressing any concerns or logistical needs.
Classroom Preparation
Prepare all materials, tools, and ingredients required for each class.
Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and fully stocked for each session.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to equipment or materials.
Classroom Support
Provide hands-on assistance during classes as needed, including setting up, cleaning, or helping students and instructors.
Monitor class progress and ensure a positive, safe learning environment.
Step in to support students or instructors in the event of unforeseen challenges.
Marketing Responsibilities
Collaborate with the marketing team to promote classes through email campaigns, social media, and in-store displays.
Create and send out mass emails to current and potential students with upcoming class offerings and promotions.
Update in-store marketing materials, including posters, flyers, and signage, to reflect current class schedules and promotions.
Work with social media managers to ensure consistent messaging and branding across platforms.
Gather and share feedback from students and instructors to improve marketing strategies and outreach.
Administrative Duties
Manage inventory of classroom supplies and coordinate orders as needed.
Collect and analyze feedback from instructors and students to improve class offerings.
Collaborate with marketing to promote upcoming classes and events.
