The Credit Representative I in Billing and Credit is responsible for performing daily invoicing functions by generating accurate, complete, and timely invoices and statements. This position is also responsible for organizing delivery paperwork for truck drivers’ routes and making sure that our invoices and credits are scanned into our electronic storage program correctly. This position will also include the daily monitoring of customer accounts to promote timely payment, reduce customer past due invoices, increase company cash flow and limit collection risk. This role will work with customers and sales representatives to secure payment and to identify root causes of past due invoices. Duties include researching and reconciling account balances, cash application, collections, daily invoicing functions, and other duties as assigned.

The schedule for this position is in office Monday-Thursday, 1PM-11:30PM.

- Process and print out accurate, complete, and timely invoices and statements.
- Print and organize paperwork for truck drivers’ routes.
- Scan all invoices and credits into our electronic storage program correctly.
- Run End of Day, End of Week, and End of Month programs.
- Performs daily cash application to customer accounts.
- Communicates with sales representatives, internal partners, and customers regarding collection of invoices and other credit-related issues.
- Fosters and maintains a collaborative relationship with customers, sales, warehouse, delivery, customer service, and management.
- Ensures compliance with industry regulations and established credit policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Education – Associate in Accounting, Business, or Finance or equivalent work experience.
- Experience - Knowledge of Accounts Receivable, Dispute Resolution and Credit Functions
- Computer Skills - Computer proficiency with Microsoft (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Internet applications; I Series/AS400 experience preferred; 10 key typing skills.
The expected pay range for this role is $16.67 - $27.67. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. Actual placement within range will be contingent upon several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, education, experience, internal equity, union status (where applicable) and alignment with market data.
