Job Description:
Pay/Benefits:
The expected pay range for this role is $85,000 - $100,000 annual salary. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. Actual placement within range will be contingent upon several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, education, experience, internal equity, union status (where applicable) and alignment with market data. Responsibilities:
- Participate in weekly truck repair calls with service providers to ensure up to date communication
- Define delivery equipment standards based on market requirements and service demands
- Manage fleet maintenance vendor(s), including establishing performance criteria, managing service delivery, and cost of service according to performance standards
- Responsible for approving all Vehicle Repairs for assigned region
- Manage truck sales utilizing a multiple bid system
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiencies. Lead initiatives to capture efficiencies
- Identify appropriate fleet service providers. Negotiate favorable service levels and costs
- Maintain fleet readiness to service year-round business demands
- Maintain and manage FMSCA regulatory compliance
- Responsible for verifying tuck inspections and generating compliance reporting
- Travel up to 50%
- Perform other duties as assigned
Experience/Skills:
- MS Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)—minimum of moderate proficiency preferred
- Previous truck repairs and maintenance experience
- Prior truck service management preferred
