Job Details
Rotating 36 / 48 Days schedule, EOW, Occasional on call.
Job Requirements
2 years of experience
Accepts 1st time travelers
Experience working General OR, Pedi General OR and Trauma required
Traveler must live 100 miles from the facility
General orientation will begin on Sundays. Sunday will be online CBLs. Can start the traveler any Sunday following completion of compliance documents by the deadline.
Schedule Information
The hospital can cancel / call off one shift biweekly without a financial penalty from the employed 36 / 36 or 36 / 48 schedule if there is a decrease in census.
Additional shifts picked up above the work commitment as additional overtime shifts will be flexed as needed for hospital census decrease / decreased resource need without penalty.
Additional Details
Contract RN / LPN team members are expected to actively participate in nursing student support and clinical education as we prepare future nurses for the profession.
The clinical nursing student education responsibility is expected in addition to / alongside the provision of clinical care practice in every nursing specialty at Ballad Health.
