Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven medical marketing director to enhance our practice’s visibility, patient acquisition, and community engagement. The ideal candidate will develop and implement marketing strategies, strengthen relationships with referring providers, and increase patient awareness through digital and traditional marketing efforts. The marketing director would be responsible for covering areas such as Elkridge, Frederick, Hagerstown, and Mount Airy, MD.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Marketing Strategy & Implementation:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing plan to attract and retain patients.
- Promote the medical practice through online and offline marketing strategies.
- Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities and competitive trends.
- Develop campaigns to increase brand awareness and patient engagement.
2. Physician & Community Outreach:
- Build and maintain relationships with referring physicians, hospitals, and other healthcare professionals.
- Conduct regular visits to medical offices, clinics, and community organizations to promote the practice.
- Organize and attend networking events, health fairs, and community outreach programs.
- Create referral marketing materials and distribute them effectively.
3. Patient Engagement & Experience:
- Implement patient loyalty programs and engagement initiatives.
- Improve patient communication through targeted outreach and follow-ups.
- Monitor patient feedback and recommend strategies for enhancing patient experience.
4. Advertising & Public Relations:
- Collaborate with media outlets and healthcare influencers for publicity opportunities.
5. Analytics & Reporting:
- Provide regular reports and insights to optimize marketing efforts.
- Adjust strategies based on data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in healthcare marketing, medical sales, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in marketing software, CRM, and analytics tools.
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance in marketing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with a medical practice, hospital, or healthcare organization.
- Familiarity with patient management systems and referral networks.
- Graphic design and content creation skills are a plus.
