We are seeking an HVAC Mechanic Apprentice (Union) to join our federal team based at the Aberdeen Proving Grounds military base (military experience not required).

Shift : Primarily day shift, Monday-Friday
Union : 486
Travel Required : Local travel may be needed, up to 15%
As an Apprentice Mechanic, you will :
- Primarily perform HVAC mechanical equipment service support, some electrical and controls work, and all other work coming under the labor agreement assigned by the Employer
- Assists Journeyman Mechanics with more complex problems
- Supports preventative maintenance duties on different types of HVAC equipment
- Troubleshoots and resolves problems
- Responds to basic warranty calls
- Keeps Managers, Foreman, contractors, and the customer informed of job progress and issues as needed
