What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heritage History Lab Facilitator position at Johnson County Park & Recreation District?
This position is responsible for facilitating the interpretive Heritage History Lab School Field Trip which has been connecting our youth with Kansas history for 40 years. This job includes greeting school groups, dividing them into groups, giving introductions for presenters, leading students to presenters, completing registration forms and collecting fees, maintaining program time schedule, drive van, assist with program setup and takedown. This position requires working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, walking 2-3 miles daily long periods of standing, working with groups of up to about 150 students, and lifting and carry program equipment.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Good communication skills, High School Graduate. Must have a valid driver’s license with good driving record. Required to pass criminal background check.

Seasonal position:
August 21 – November 3, 2023 (Program Training August 21 &22, Field Trip begins on August 23 and ends on November 3, 2023.
Hours: 8:15 am. – 2:15 pm, M-F, Approx.: 25- 30 hours/week
