Part-Time Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while driving sales through effective upselling techniques. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to engage with customers effectively, ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Duties

• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner.
• Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products and services to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Operate cash registers efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately while maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
• Demonstrate products through engaging product demos, showcasing features and benefits to customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring all merchandise is properly displayed and stocked.
• Utilize retail math skills to assist customers with pricing inquiries and product availability.
• Exhibit strong phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries or providing information over the phone.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a high standard of service.
• Making outbound sales calls.
• Going onsite to perform drug and alcohol testing. (Must be available after hours)
• Respond to emails and inbound calls in a timely manner

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail or sales is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance customer interactions.
• Familiarity with cash register operations and cash handling procedures is a plus.
• Basic understanding of retail math concepts to assist with pricing and inventory management.
• Ability to perform product demonstrations confidently and engagingly.
• A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $7.90 - $9.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week

• Morning shift
